Possible: See your Surgeon about this. Bony infection (dry socket) usually rears its ugly head about day 3 or 4. However, you might have a low grade infection or simply regular healing. Also, there may be debris in some of the extraction sites which causes loss of the clot and delayed and painful healing. Too much rinsing will lead to same thing. Get it checked out.
