Large Mixed Solid And Cystic But Predominantly Cystic Left Thyroid Nodule
I had a thyroid ultrasound that found a circumscribed solid heterogeneous largely isoechoic nodule with cystic mild internal color flow 26x16x19?
I have a 2.4 heterogeneous hypoechoic solid nodule with cystic components and no increased vascularity or internalcalcification on thyroid. Is it bad?
Ultrasound shows that i have large solid nodules in right and left thyroid lobes. Hypoechoic and heterogenous. Isthmus measures 7mm , is it malignant?
Thyroid nodules: Can't say for sure, but in a multinodular gland, unless one particular nodule is "dominant" or stands out because of suspicious features, they are presumed benign. Sometimes a nuclear medicine thyroid scan will identify a particular nodule to biopsy if it is "cold" on the scan ...Read more
I have a 2.4 heterogeneous hypoechoic solid nodule with cystic components and no increased vascularity or interna calcification. Shortness of breath?
Not sure: I'm not exactly sure what the question is but i don't like the sound of the mass you describe. It sounds as if this was a breat ultrasound finding. Is that true? If so, what was the physicians recommendation? If my assumptions are correct, there is no definite clear relationship to shortness of breath from a physiologic standpoint, but shortness of breath should to be evaluated. ...Read more
Sono showed dominant nodule is a heterogeneous nodule. Evidence of hypoechoic on left and right lobes. Multinodular goiter with all nodules over 1cm. Can this be thyroid cancer.
I have large thyroid nodule with microcalcifications and an additional solid hypoechic nodule. Is this indicative of malignancy?
Heterogeneous thyroid, my ultrasound stated that diffusely heterogeneous thyroid with no discrete cystic or solid nodule identified.
May be autoimmune: Heterogeneous thyroid on ultrasound refers to a thyroid that looks mottled with both dark and light areas throughout. This is a typical finding in people with autoimmune thyroid disease such as hashimoto's thyroiditis or grave's disease. It sounds like there is nothing suspicious that would require biopsy. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I had an ultrasound of my thyroid that states thyroid has multiple subcentimeter nodules but is homogeneous in echotexture with no mass, nodule, or other abnormality, Hypoechoic nodule at the lower pole on right 3x3x3mm, cystic nodule in the interpol?
See Specialist: I would take the results and follow up with Endocrinology or a Ear Nose and Throat specialist Should also have complete Thyroid labs done. Need more information about your medical history, meds, and other family history you have. Continue to follow up and you will get your situation resolved and need not worry. ...Read more
Having a thyroid biopsy on complex nodule with very little internal flow, complex cyst nodule, and right isthmus appears thickened ireg borders, ?
Thyroid bx: I am not sure what your question is, but the most important factor is seeing a doctor who can evaluate all these findings. That is usually an Endocrinologist, whether or not (s)he does the biopsy. Thyroid nodules are common. Most are not cancer. If surgery becomes an option, find a surgeon who does thyroid surgery a a lot, not someone who does this only occasionally. ...Read more
What does predominantly solid isoechoic mass with sites of cyst and increased vascularity measuring 5.5 x4.5x3.6 in thyroid mean?
Mm?: Hi. I hate to assume, but I assume this is a small nodule 5.5x4.5x3.6 mm? (not cm? that would be a BIG nodule). A nodule that small (in mm) would be too small to do a fine needle aspiration biopsy on. Are your TSH and free T4 normal? If so, I would say do another thyroid ultrasound in a year or so to see if it's growing. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
Thyroid us reveals small hypoechoic adenomas two, septated cyst left lobe and 11x10x4 mm solid hypoechoic mass anterior to jugular, concerning?
I have a tyroid nodule, 1.6 x .9 x 3 cm. heterogeneously attenuating predominantly cystic right thyroid nodule. What's it mean and could it be cancer?
Thyroid: Its highly unlikely to be cancer. The odds favor this being a thyroglossal duct cyst. Pts often present at you age. You don't say where exactly your mass is. TDC is usually near midline. Another possibility is a branchial cleft cyst which is also a congenital problem. Your docs may want to do a CT guided fine needle biopsy. Hang in there. I think you will be fine. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
