If I have been diagnosed with a large complex ovarian cyst on my left ovary why do I sometimes have pelvic pain on my right side as well as my left?

Possible post tubal/ ablation syndrome & US found a large left side "complex" ovarian cyst. MRI now scheduled. Having monthly unbearable pain. Ideas?
