Large Bump On Cervix
Cervical polyp.: Need to see Gyn for an exam.
Cervix bumps: Difficult to diagnose without examination. Schedule with Ob/Gyn.
Likely BENIGN cyst: Your cervix may have several benign 'nabothian cysts' on it. You should get an exam --just to be sure. No treatment is necessary. Nabothian cysts do not cause any problems.
Bump: It should be biopsiedGet a more detailed answer ›
May be normal: Most likely this is a Nabothian Cyst, a mucous filled cyst that can travel down from the upper cervix to the surface in young women. However, you should see your doctor for a pap smear and visual inspection of the cervix to be sure and alleviate any anxiety you may be having regarding this finding.
No.: It's called a nabothian cyst. It's nothing more than a small fluid filled mass, and will eventually go away by itself.See 1 more doctor answer
Is it normal to have a flap of tissue hanging out of your cervix opening? Polyp pics look more like bumps, this is more like a 'tenticle'
Well, no...: To begin, it's not possible to see one's own cervix unless perhaps a photograph has been provided to you from an exam. It's understandable to confuse the cervix with the vaginal opening or labia minora. Regardless, most growths on a cervix should be removed and examined once identified. So the short answer is no, this should be examined by a doctor who can perform colposcopy/biopsy if needed.
For years I have been able to slightly feel my cervix. Now cervix is Low, Swollen, 2cm open 3sm bumps painfull sex What & Why is this happening? 30 F
Cease self exam: I think you need someone to directly visualize that area and potentially take a biopsy of one of those painful bumps. In the mean time I would avoid any more touching of that area and definitely avoid sexual contacts until you figure out what's going on.
I feel a very small bump that's smaller than a hair bump on my cervix should I be concerned about it and what could this be?

I touched my cervix, trying to feel it bc lately I felt 2 smll bumps near its opening. Then bright red blood came out. Bt only minimal. WHY??
Not sure: It is in not clear in the history of what you have given as to why. You need to see someone who is aware of what they are looking at and appropriate equipment. See your doctor and get a dx if there is anything abnormal. May have just have been irritation after excoriating something. Best wishes.

I have a bump in the middle of my cervix it dosnt hurt I had a altra sound a week ago in a pep but everything was ok???
Nabothian cyst: If you feel a small bump on your cervix and had an examination and pap smear by an experienced Obgyn one week ago then it is not likely that something abnormal was missed. You may be feeling a nabothian cyst which is like a small pimple located on the cervix. These are benign. The doctor who did you exam may have seen it and not mentioned it since they are common & normal. Call and ask to confirm
I have what feels like a bump on my cervix. I'm worried it might be cancer. I feel ok just sometimes I get a weird slight pain. Any ideas?
Get medical check up: Get a pelvic examination done from a gynecologist to find out the reality. It is easy for doctor to take a look inside and tell you what is the reality. More than likely it is nothing but you will feel better once it has been checked by a doctor, so that your mind can rest in peace!
