My nephew had a rash as my sister told me but when I changed his diaper I noticed the rash is blisters an now around parts of his hips an ankles?
Please have him: Seen by his doctor. It is hard to diagnose a rash without seeing it. This could be a reaction to something, but also could be an infection, either viral or bacterial. You didn't mention your nephew's age; if he is an infant, I would be more concerned and call his doctor today. ...Read more
A spot on my hip popped up tht looked like a blood blister but seemed to be attached to fat and was deep, was told its cellulitis and now its allover!
See your MD!: Cellulitis is a very serious infection and if it is spreading you need to see your doctor as soon as possible to evaluate your response to treatment. Even though you are already on Bactrim, (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) I would have your doc re-evaluate your treatment to determine why the redness is spreading. ...Read more

I have blisters that look purplish and some clear a little below my hip bone and a burning sensation around them that comes and goes but hurts, help.
Well, you are not: In the age group where we expect to see herpes zoster or shingles, but that might be what you have. It is difficult to say for sure without a picture (which you could upload to HealthTap for a Virtual Consult). Blistering rash with pain is the hallmark. I have a burning sensation for 1week in my lower left back that comes and goes, migrates to the hips and groin, no blisters or rashes, what could it be?
3 days ago I noticed tiny blisters and redness in 1 area of my buttocks. The redness and swelling has expanded across my hip and into the groin area. What is this?
This sounds like a possible cellulitis (skin infection). You will need to be examined by a doctor and get treated. Antibiotics will clear this up if it is in fact bacterial in nature, other possibilities are herpetic lesions, allergic reaction, or even bug bites.
If the issue has not resolved please seek medical attention.
Best of luck and happy new year. ...Read more
A group of tiny, pimple-like dots appeared on my upper left thigh near my hip about a week ago. Since then, they keep spreading slowly to my inner thigh. Now my right thigh has them too. They are not itchy at all and some are blistering. Thoughts?
THESE LESIONS MUST BE SEEN TO MAKE ANY DIAGNOSIS.
WHILE THEY DO NOT SOUND SERIOUS, SHOW THEM TO YOUR PCP OR DERMATOLOGIST.

Dermatologist: Without being able to see these and get more of a history there is no way in which to diagnose this over the internet. Go and let a dermatologist see these and decide whether further diagnostic studies are indicated or whether he can make the diagnosis clinically. It would be helpful to know if she had taken any meds or changed material touching her skin (detergents, extrinisic substances). ...Read more

Recurrent shingles with Post-Herpetic Neuralgia between outbreaks? There is a lot more to it but not enough space here.....?
Maybe HSV, not VZV: Shingles rarely recurs so frequently but HSV does, and recurrent herpes simplex can look identical to zoster. 1) Retest next outbreak to confirm varicella zoster virus (VZV), and PCR test for HSV. 2) Have an HSV IgG antibody test, expecting maybe positive for HSV1. 3) Continue valacylovir to prevent recurrences, whatever the cause. As others have advised, it is nontoxic and harmless, so why not? ...Read more

A woman's Body.: I consider it to be very woman-like. The reason - women's bodies were designed to have more fat than a man's. So having curves is normal.
