Anything: post op pain is very simple,and could very complicated .it could be a scar and incision pain,could be scar tissue.most likely it is a normal post op pain.check with your surgeon. ...Read more

Likely normal: I do not know what surgery you had, or if the swelling you describe is located at one of the surgical sites. Swelling after any surgery is normal, and it can take a few weeks for swelling at a healing scar to resolve. Depends on procedure: This can be a multitude of things depending on the procedure and the size of ports used. Muscle pain and swelling are quite common although i would expect it to be improving each day. Bruising/hematoma/abscess or something intraabdominal are other causes especially in appendectomy/cholecystectomy or others. ...Read more

Laparoscopy Maybe: The only way to see if your tubes are open is to do some sort of dye test. You can either do a dye test with HSG or with a laparoscopy (LSC). With HSG a dye is squirted through your tubes and if they're open then you see dye flow on X-Ray. With LSC a special procedure called a chromopertubation is performed to see if dye goes through. You can only be sure if this specific procedure was done. ...Read more
