If you are an "apple" build, with torso weight and high waisted-very good. If low waisted, with more weight on arms and legs-not as good. Low calorie/low fat may be better in that case. But apples have cholesterol and BP issues and the is no scientific question that low carb trumps low fat in this case!

But there are other health risks associated with high consumption of meat products and high protein diet. Increase in fats can increase the risk of heart disease. In all the atkins books. You can follow my tips for dinners on low carb diets. Howwever, I am not providing info on breakfast and lunch. There are almost an infinite vairiety of meals. My general recommendation is to go to a search engine and type in "atkins breakfast menus, " and do the same for lunch and dinner!
