Hi, if i take lactic acid bacillus over a long term (6-8 months) to reduce IBS or other stomach issues, it has caused acidity and pain in upper stomach region.
Not likely: Typically lactobacillus is taken in a capsule that doesn't even dissolve until it gets through your stomach. You probably have another gastrointestinal issue, possibly H.Pylori in the upper digestive tract responsible for the acidity and pain. See your physician about treatment for this. ...Read more
I m taking doxycycline and lactic acid bacillus capsules for the last 4 days , i m feeling weak, is it due to this antibiotic?
What is the difference between doxycycline hyclate and Doxycycline and lactic acid Bacillus? Which is better for acne?
Big picture: Never use an antibiotic for acne without some non-antibiotic topical therapy as well. Doxycycline plus toipcal benzoyl peroxide or a retinoic acid derivative is more likely than not to clear moderate acne. The bacteria are added for glamor and will probably not help. Remember not to take a tetracycline with milk, iron, or calcium. ...Read more
I was prescribed Doxycycline and lactic acid bacillus capsules and Levocetrizine dihydrochloride tablet, along with gel for acne and dark spots, just wanted to know if that will help?
Doxycycline can: Doxycycline, taken orally, is very effective for certain types of acne (inflammatory). Usually topical antibiotics would be tried first. The lactobacillus is likely to help offset potential side effects of doxycycline. The levocitirizine is an allergy medication very much like Zyrtec (cetirizine) but with less potential to cause drowsiness; I don't think that prescription is related to your acne. ...Read more
I have acne and dark spots on my face, would doxycycline and lactic acid bacillus capsules help?i have oily skin
Manage it: The dark spots must fade on their own. Tetracycline must never be used for acne without a topical agent such as benzoyl peroxide. Lactobacillus pills are a waste of money for this and most other disease. You would do well to get with a competent mainstream physician and an evidence-based holist. Best wishes. ...Read more

I have mouth ulcer and the doctor has recommended B-complex and doxycycline and lactic acid bacillus capsules. Are these medicines okay?
Mouth ulcers: What was the diagnosis?? That's the important question. The cause will determine the treatment. Was the "doctor" a physician or dentist? What you mentioned regarding medicines are fine, but will they cure or prevent the ulcers? That's a question we cannot determine over the internet without examining you and knowing your medical and dental history. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

(Ciprofloxacin and Tinidazole) & ( lactic acid bacillus) ...is it safe to use lactic acid bacillus??
Safe but unhelpful: You may take so-called probiotics but there is not good evidence that these supplements are useful. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. ...Read more

Ciprofloxacin and Tinidazole & lactic acid bacillus & Rabeprazole....is it safe use of lactic acid bacillus??
Safe, +/- helpful: Your doctor is trying to protect you against disruption of intestinal bacteria by the antibiotics. Interval training: During training you need to maintain a constant aerobic level with intermittent high intensity bursts. After these bursts do not stop or slow down but go back to an aerobic level so that your body can adapt to metabolizing lactic acid while maintaining the aerobic capacity. Example: if you run 6 miles at an aerobic pace of 8-9 min/mile, do 30 second intervals at 6 min/mile but dont slow to 10 min/ ...Read more
