Need more info: Not sure what your question is, but how old are you and what are your symptoms? Have you had any trauma lately? All these factors help determine the significance of any radiographic abnormality. Also, when the radiologists use a term like "suggest", it means they can't tell for sure if an abnormality is really present or not. ...Read more

Disc Sprain?: I assume he meant a possible tear in your disc.These may heal on their own, may cause continuous pain, or may rupture.I've never taped anyone (to prevent motion perhaps to allow disc to heal?They usually don't).Best bet:See osteopath who can evaluate disc inj. vs. vertebral dysfunction & treat accordingly.Use heat (helps healing) & AVOID NSAIDS/steroids which impede healing. ...Read more

Depends: I would sure check with your personal physician. If you have had a fusion at L4 and it is well healed, there are not typically any restrictions with that.
