Celebra is a cox ii specific version which has less effect on platelet function (less bleeding tendency) and somewhat less GI irritation which can be good for some patients. All of the nsaids can cause increased risk of heart attack, stroke, high BP and blood clots. Ask ur doc. ...Read more
Have mild-moderate Overpronation/flat feet & wear orthotics. OK to wear stabilizing athletic sneakers without orthotics?Same support?

Custom orthotics conform to your arch and can help limit excessive pronation. The best combination for support is to wear custom orthotics with a stable athletic shoe. This becomes even more important if you participate in high-impact activities like running. ...Read more

I've found "rubber shorts" on amazon. Many are made of spandex (some 20%, and 80% nylon or cotton). Is this an effective alternative to dental dams?
Sure: Yoga can be an incredibly wonderful activity. I practice regularly and love it. However, you can also hurt yourself in yoga if you do not have instruction or if you try to do something that you are not ready for. I generally recommend to my patients interested in yoga to go to classes and then to use tapes/dvds only when they have gained some experience and no what to do and what not to do. ...Read more

You can also place small cushions on the toes and or around the bunion area that are non medicated for protection, whether they be foam or felt skin or gel type. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
