Dr told me to stop my 50 mg amiltryptline 25mg for 3 days then 12.5 for two. Is this an accurate schedule to titrate down?
Depends: Assuming your doctor know hoe long you have been on it &why you are taking it, this is reasonable. You will have some "withdrawal" symptoms like maybe not sleeping as well or maybe a return of some of the symptoms of what you were taking it for. 50mg is a relatively low dose so this seems to be reasonable. Also, if you are being changed to a new med, you may be starting it while reducing it. ...Read more
I'm in AF about a year, if i take cordarone (amiodarone) 200mg 1xper day, what pradaxa (dabigatran) dosage which not cause bleeding? My Crcl is 88 ml/min
Use with caution: In a large trial of dabigatran, the effect of additonal Amiodarone was a modest increase in dabigatran levels however no change in clinical outcomes including bleeding. In Europe, there has been a recommendation to lower the Pradaxa dose to 110mg twice-a-day. Replaginide may also rarely cause anemia. Maybe not: redotex? Is there a generic name? Is this an over the counter weight loss pill? If so, it's effects usually only limited and temporary, and it's not safety tested/regulated by proper authorities, likely. Possible interaction with Zoloft (sertraline) or any medication. Change your lifestyle instead. Eat healthier and move more, and you can then also get off the Zoloft (sertraline), possibly. Good luck. ...Read more

Can vitamin C cause abortion? Name the vitamin C without bioflavinoids to cause abortion and its dosage for 19yrs girl
Possibly if early: First, you say you don't know if you're pregnant. If you are late for your period take a home pregnancy test to find out. There are reports that 500 mg of Ascorbic Acid without bioflavinoids every hour (including waking a couple times at nite) is often effective if done within 4 weeks of conception. No research proves (or disproves) this. See http://www.Sisterzeus.Com/hsp1shlp.Htm for details. ...Read more

I had mifepristone200 3tab. Italy yesterday 2.30 pm now tomorrow i will take misoprostol200mcg 2 pills is it right dose for 3 weeks pregnant abortion?
Dose is correct: A typical oral dose of Misoprostol is 400 mcg. It can be given 1-3 days post mifeprex. If you don't have an obvious result, then you may need to repeat the dose of misoprostol, and at that point you may want to consider a higher dose (800 mcg) administered vaginally. Even if you feel that the job is done, you still should see a doctor to follow up with an ultrasound to confirm. ...Read more

More information: More information is needed to answer this question, such as how far along are you? Cytotec (misoprostol) by itself, as you likely know, isn't recommended for an abortion, though women around the world do use it for such. Best is to take mifepristone, followed by 600 cytotec (misoprostol). What is the maximum dose of misoprostol in case of a missed abortion from 12days in the 7th week(the sac out but still little tissues in uterus)?
Uncertain: Misoprostol is commonly used to facilitate the completion of spontaneous abortion. There are many protocols in use that vary by physician training. It doesn't seem beneficial to keep repeating the dose more than 2 to 3 times and the dosing usually ranges from 400- 800mcg given either per vagina or by mouth and never repeated more frequently than once per day. ...Read more

Is Verapamil capable of 'aborting' a migraine? If i've had an intractable migraine,is it possible if i dose to 480mg that it'll break?Or not happening?
Explanation: Verapamil and other calcium channel blockers are most effective as preventative agents, but have NO utility in the process of reversing migraine once it is in place. Thus, the real issue here is stopping what appears to be "status migrainosis". Tools here include steroids, 100% oxygen, various injections (such as Compazine), and maybe Cambia powder or ergotamines. A neurologist can help. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I know they were illegal during the 50's, but are abortions still undergone today in all countries?
Yes: Many countries outlaw abortion. Women still have them even when they are outlawed, they are just more likely to die from an illegal abortion. Abortion rates, in fact, can be higher in countries where they are illegal because women typically don't have good access to birth control in those countries. ...Read more
