I had open inguial hernia surgery 4 years ago and lumb appeared 2months after near incesion surgon told it knot left after surgery painful&moving ?
Which type?: I assume you mean arthroscopic surgery. Certain procedures such as repairing a torn cartilage have very little pain. Others, such as rotator cuff repair or major spur removal can be sore for 3-4 weeks. The difficult part is that each patient has a different pain tolerence that needs to be factored into the equation as well. Overall though, only minor pain usually. ...Read more
How soon can I return to basketball after laproscopic inguinal hernia repair with mesh. I had the surgery 6 weeks ago.
Graduated: Many surgeons adhere to a traditional 6 weeks to return of activity. However, for those patients who are young and in good health. There is room for a graduated return to activity, such that by 6 weeks, you are back to a full, unrestrictive routine. Talk to your surgeon and get his/her advice based on your age, health and particular hernia problem. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

See your surgeon: If the problem is discomfort, it may not be related to the hernia, rather scar tissue. If you think the hernia is back, see a surgeon with experience in abdominal wall reconstruction, including perforator soaring techniques for "component separation". Not sure what you need however without a complete evaluation - history, exam, review old records and ct scans. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Abdominal Sutures: After abdominal surgery, many surgeons will remove the skin sutures (or skin staples) after about 7 days. Activity after fused: Given that rods were removed, i must assume that the fusion is solid. Therefore, there are really no restrictions for you in a solidly fused lumbar spine. Will I have staples after hip resurfacing? What will the sutures be after hip resurfacing? Staples or stitches?
Up to your surgeon: The choice of skin closure method is surgeon dependent. Can my neck/arm pain be a result of bankart repair shoulder surgery 2yrs ago? nerve pain from neck down left arm, started 6 months after surgery
Probably not: If you had a bankart repair and did well for 6 months and started having neck pain running down your left arm, it is more likely coming from a "pinched nerve" in your neck. Bankart repairs are done primarily for instability, so if you have not developed recurrent instability, it is probably not your shoulder, also shoulder problems do not typically cause pain running down the arm. Be seen! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
