Is it bad to hold a newborn in a sitting position for burping, while supporting head & back with my hands? Is it bad to hold them as if kneeling?
Hi: it's fine. I notice you have asked many many questions about your baby. I'm guessing you are a first time Mom. It's a nerve wracking time for sure. I just want to encourage you to trust yourself. Your instincts are good. If it seems ok, it probably is. And babies are tough, tougher than you think. I'd love for you to take a big breath and relax. You are doing fine. Enjoy this time. ...Read more

Dry skin: What you described could be due to dry skin in winter. Try using an emollient or moisturizer liberally at night. How can i tell if a lymph node at back of neck is enlarged ?do i need to kneel down & inwards my neck ? or it's obvious in normal upright position?
It would be obvious: a lymph node larger than a 'jelly belly' jelly bean is enlarged. Most of the time you have an enlarged node, it is doing its job: trapping bacteria that got into the body and killing it off. It will likely shrink on its own and would be treated with antibiotics for first therapy. There is not an need to biopsy it unless it is a GENERALIZED condition or, if it lasts for more than 4 weeks. ...Read more
Bursitis : This may be an inflammation in the little sack or bursa just over the patella. It normally helps everything "slide" when you bend your knee, but can get irritated, especially if you did a lot of kneeling or caused some inflammation to start. If it is red and painful, it may even be infected so you should get it checked. Try an antiinflammatory in the meantime. Try not to kneel until it is healed. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Tear causes cyst: The internally injured knee protects itself by increasing the lubricating fluid production. The fluid created from an injury or cartilage wear when significant, can leak out the back of the knee and take up space between the calf and hamstring muscles making the area full or swollen. This can lead to posterior pain, decreased motion. Treat internal problem to stop the fluid production. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
