Physical exam : It sounds like you need a physical exam and to rest. With your twist you may have experienced a bulging or herniated disk and if the pain was bilateral may be a bulging disc. However you may also have strained your lower back. The most concerning thing is the inability to walk. Bowel or bladder incontinence and saddle area anesthesia (can't feel) =emergency. Knee pain: Definitely not normal. Might be cartilage or ligament injury. Could be a fracture which happened when you had the first fracture . Could be because of overuse of the right leg because of left dude injury. See your doctor. ...Read more

Knee Pain in Walker: I will only attempt alittle advice on the knee pain. From a podiatrist's perspective, you need to prevent your knee pain from getting worse. You need to cut your workouts in half, slow your pace down, make sure your shoes are stable and cushioned. A good running shoe store can help. Ice the knee twice daily for 20 minutes and see if an Ace wrap helps. See an orthopedist for advice if swelling. ...Read more
