Knee Swelling After Meniscus Surgery
I had meniscus surgery three month ago , why still my knee swelling and in pain and since two weeks ago my right knee has pain.It is getting worse.
Depends: It all depends on the type of surgery and the condition of your knee. If you have severe arthritis, then a meniscus surgery may simply have been inadequate. You'll need to see your surgeon for further evaluation. ...Read more

Should the swelling be gone? I had arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus 2 weeks ago, and my knee is still swollen at times. Is that something I should be concerned about?
It : It will usually take a few weeks for the swelling to subside. If you have some arthritis as well as a meniscus tear it can take longer for the fluid in your knee to be absorbed.
