Needs to be checked : It needs to be checked by your Doctor or an orthopedic specialist. If there is history of an injury it may be related to a torn meniscus and weakness in Quadriceps muscles of the affected knee. If no trauma it may be due to OSteoarthritis. There is no medicine that will help this heal but sometimes anti inflammatories are used initially to help with pain and inflammation. Call your ortho: The immobilizer may have been fitted wrong. Contact your surgeon. If it is fitted properly, you may want to gently wrap the leg with an ace bandage, giving the immobilizer something to "grip" other than skin. Hope your leg is better soon! ...Read more
