Ligamentous laxity: A joint may 'Crack' with arthritis (loss of cartilage in a joint) or may be related to a ligament sprain (stretching of a ligament) or ligament tear/rupture. Patella instability: It is not normal for recurring "knee popping" as you describe it. It sounds as if your daughter might have patella instability which could be caused by numerous factors from underdeveloped quadriceps to a condition called Chondromalacia Patella.

That is a lot of : Fractures in one year. Unless one was a stunt woman or very clumsy -this is difficult to explain. I reviewed side effect profiles for phenergan, (promethazine) Alprazolam ; Apriso — and found no association with fractures. If you have found yourself more injury prone, Alprazolam can lead to difficulty with coordination, clumsiness etc. This warrants further exploration. ...Read more
