Knee pain: Several possibilities and this requires a good physical exam followed by imaging to make a probable diagnosis. I would suspect a patellar and/or tendon issue more than an intra-articular problem. See an orthopedist. It will probably only get worse if you try to ignore it. ...Read more

Difficult to say for: sure without an exam. It could be toxic synovitis which is caused by a virus, but also could be a bacterial infection or other serious issue.
