It is unlikely that your symptoms are related to Grave's so you need to see your primary doctor about your pains.

I'm: I'm sorry to hear that you are having such issues with your knee. Has your doctor looked into other causes? Some lower back problems can cause referred symptoms in the knee. The sensitivity to touch would worry me about a "pinched nerve". I also routinely see patients who complain about knee pain who actually have a hip problem. You didn't mention any injury to your knee, however some people develop a condition called rsd (reflex sympathetic dystrophy) after apparent minor injuries which result in significant pain and senstivity of the sking.
