Pain: It is unlikely that your symptoms are related to Grave's so you need to see your primary doctor about your pains.

If you have Grave's you should be on medication to control that. Over time your thyroid levels should be decreased. Your doctor should check that every 3 months when you start therapy and every 6 months once your thyroid levels are OK. ...Read more

I'm: I'm sorry to hear that you are having such issues with your knee. Has your doctor looked into other causes? Some lower back problems can cause referred symptoms in the knee. The sensitivity to touch would worry me about a "pinched nerve". I also routinely see patients who complain about knee pain who actually have a hip problem. You didn't mention any injury to your knee, however some people develop a condition called rsd (reflex sympathetic dystrophy) after apparent minor injuries which result in significant pain and senstivity of the sking. Not likely: We got to address the reason for your knee arthritis. Are you overweight? If so, you got to lose weight. In addition, consider the use of cane for long distances. Stationary bike and aquatic exercises might be better way of exercising. Consider use of Tylenol (acetaminophen) and NSAID and glucosamine. Consider knee intrarticular steroid or synvisc shot which could buy you some time. If this fails, do replace ...Read more
