If not, consider taking some pain medication such as Ibuprofen (assuming there is no contraindication to taking this) for a few days and see if you feel better. I have pain going down the front of my right leg after having back surgery. It goes from my hip down to my knee and I can't stand it. Please help?

Need more info: Pain in top of thigh can be L2, L3, or L4 nerve root. If you had surgery for any of those nerves, continued compression may be the reason for this pain. You need to have your surgeon work you up for this. If your surgery did not involve these nerves, then you may be experiencing lateral femoral cutaneous nerve injury that can occur from laying on your belly for long periods of time. ...Read more
