Had a knee revision after infection from TKR surgery. Have been diagnosed as irritated IT band. Have been doing stretching, exercise, and massage to control pain. After several months still have some residual pain that wakes me at night. Any suggestio
Reevaluation: The Most likely possibilities are that you have ITB syndrome that has failed conservative care, or that the pain is coming from something else, such as a pinched nerve in the back. If there is a piece of glass in the soft tissue, you should try to have it extracted if possible due to the long-term risk of infection.
