What is the best knee brace for pfs for softball? It needs to be able to stand sliding and lots of running and squating. Should I wear on both knees?
Patellofemoral pain: The best brace is no brace. Making sure that your hip abductors and vastus medialis are strong. Also making sure that your patellar mobilization is good by stretching the lateral retinaculum is paramount. In the short term consider mcconnell or kinesio-taping. Not advised: At face value you have an artificail knee. The plastic spacer (polyethlyene insert) is the weak link. The more you load it the higher probability of wearing it out faster.
