Chondromalacia: I assume this is noted on the surfaces of the boned in the knee. Medication may be an option but this depends on how bad your symptoms are. You may want to consider Stem Cell injections as an option - do a search on Google ...Read more

Non weight bearing : Micro fracture in essence is creating a fracture to stimulate fibro cartilage to fill in a void. This needs to be protected from load for a minimum 4-6 weeks . Once the micro fracture heals you can progress your weight bearing. Early pt will focus on range of motion strengthening without loading the joint .
