Meds & Pregnancy: The fda rates Klonopin as a category d for safety in pregnancy; zoloft is a category c. Klonopin has been associated with some fetal malformations, but this is not consistent. Needs workup done: Multiple miscarriages in a short period of time can have a variety of causes including genetic, environmental, infectious, and "bad luck." this can be worked up in order to determine what is behind the mishaps. Not necessarily: This is a small dose and because klonopin is a very long acting benzodiazepine it will be metabolized down very slowly so it likely will not cause problems - learning and using relaxation procedures/visualization/breathng techniques/etc can be a strong replacement.
