My dog vomited, and before I knew I was kissing her head, and she might have had a little bit on her, should i be worried for myself getting sick?

Why worry now?: Dogs vomit for all kinds of non-contagious reasons. Anyway, if you've been exposed to a dog pathogen, there's no certainty you caught it. Give it a few days, but there's really not much you can do at this point but worry needlessly. Wait and see-- ...Read more

No risk, no worries: Rabies is not transmitted until the infected persons has had it quite a while. Even if your boyfriend caught rabies, you couldn't catch it from him for at least a few weeks. Even then, human to human transmission is exceedingly rare, if it happens at all. Of course your bf needs to see a doctor (or speak with the health department) ASAP about the bite and whether he needs rabies shots. ...Read more
