Kidney stones: 42 M from CA: Does drinking lots of H2O greatly dimenish risk kidney stones? ANS- formation of stones depends on many things. Dilution of stone forming chemicals is a way to stop. In theory at least. But evidence that increasing H20 decreases risk in general has not been tested that I am aware of. Worry about other things unless u/family have had stones.
