No, but...: Kidney stones are not directly connected with loose stools, but the drugs used for stone-related issues such as antibiotics, pain medication, or alpha-blockers, e.g., tamsulosin, may indirectly induce loose stools. I passed a kidney stone one week ago and psin meds constipated me. Now I have flat to penicil thin stool and excess mucus. What can cause this?
Constipation: This may very well be related to your bowel recovering from a bout of drug(likely opioid) induced constipation. Had an abd ct scan looking for kidney stones. There was a white spot on my intestines that looked just like a kidney stone on a scan. What could it be?
Need to see scan: There are a number of things it could be. It could be a kidney stone, phlebolith (a benign calcification) or a some other things.
