Stones and VLCD: Kidney stones should not occur on a VLCD if you drink plenty of liquids, and assuming you do not have an abnormality in calcium metabolism. Gallstones are different. Less food= less bile = sludge and small stones, which can occasionally cause colic. The risk is small, but ursodiol can prevent this. Talk to your doc. Shouldn't : The precipitation of a variety of natural chemicals that form stones within abdominal organs have no affect on pulmonary function per se. The pain from those stones can cause someone to take shallow breaths however. Hope this helps! ...Read more

No, coincidence: 4 different types of stones and all have different causes. Gallstones are compose of cholesterol + other bile products + caused by stasis. Other 3 are usually all calcium containing, although kidney stones can bo composed of uric acit or cystine any of which are in xs in urine. Tonsil stones r caused by bacteria in crypts of tonsils. Unrelated: Almost 23% of the general population have asymptomatic gallbladder stones. Symptomatic cholelithiasis is associated with pain after eating in the epigastric/ right upper abdominal area in a person with gallstones on ultrasound. Your symptoms most likely are not related. Liver calcification is not related to cholesterol ; is observed unless it is associated with a mass lesion. Gallstones may be related to your cholesterol but they will not go away.
