See your doctor: Blood is normally not found in urine. Are there symptoms like burning with urine, flank pain, recent infection, etc? Injury or recent surgery could also cause this. In females this is common with recent period. See your doctor for further follow up as this needs to be looked at in a clinical context to be sure everything is good.
Pyelonephritis: Infection of kidneys which if properly treated with antibiotics should not result in kidney failure.
Probably: Stents are not much fun and they can be uncomfortable. They can cause blood in the urine also. However, if you think it is more than what you would consider normal, call the physician that placed the stent. I assure you, that physician would want to know if you are having problems that are beyond the normal.

Pain in kidney, blood in urine, constant pain, kidney bleeding, stinging urine, what could this be?
Kidney stone: This sounds like you have a kidney stone. In addition, you could also have a kidney infection. Even if that's not the case, you are at increased risk of infection. I recommend you go to your family doctor, clinic, or er very soon to start treatment and have the stone size evaluated. If it's too big, you may need lithotripsy to break up the stone so you can pass it.

Microscopic evidence of blood in urine, passed a kidney stone 3 weeks, am a nonsmoker. What could it mean? What tests would be done?
Causes of hematuria: Hematuria can be caused by any bleeding in the urinary tract. It could be caused by a tumor of the kidney, kidney stones in the ureters or by a bladder tumor, among other things. Have your urine cultured and if you have hematuria with no uti, see a urologist for evaluation. If you do have a uti, have your urine analyzed after the infection to make sure it resolves. If not, see a urologist.
