What can I do about frequent urinating? I usually have to go about once an hour. And it seems to be getting worse. I also have kidney pains.

Probably: Kidney stones come in many sizes and shapes. 6 mm is not very large and should eventually pass. Straining urine with kitchen strainer every voiding should eventually catch the stone which likely will look like a blood clot. It can get hung up in the ureter causing significant pain. All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, 3+ protein in urine warrants consultation with a nephrologist.
