Irritated : Kp us an adult form of eczema and the follicles get plugged, can become inflamed, burn, itch, or even can become infected (folliculitis). Best tx is daily moisterization with cerave (otc), gently wash with cerave wash -no scrubbing! and twice weekly tx with an acid cream like otc amlactin 12%.
