Wrong treatments: Recurrent infections mean that the original infections were not eradicated or you keep exposing the area to the same causes. If recurrent, then you may have chronically infected cysts which need removal. Simply opening them does not get rid of the infected parts. Hard to say: Some patients will unfortunately have Staph on their bodies, nasal passage ways, underneath their finger nails and in the razor blades. I would see your doctor consider bactroban nasal. You might be colonized with bacteria causing recurrent infections, usually staph or strep, in which case prolonged antibiotic treatment might put a stop to it.
