Cardiac Output: Cardiac output is the amount of blood the heart pumps each minute measured in liters. The ci is the cardiac index or the co divided by the body surface area. This is a way to normalize measurements for different sized people. What do these numbers mean are they normal or not they are co4.09, cl 2.6& svr55.64 cardic output numbers from right and left cather?
I imaging you : Are referring to cardiac output, cardiac index and systemic vascular resistance that may be an index one(svri). I am a critical care physician. In my opinion those numbers are meaningless without known history and physical, working diagnosis, chest x-ray, ekg, blood pressure, heart rate. Co may be little low and svr too. No sense to me without above info. Talk to the ICU physician in charge. ...Read more

On transvaginal ultrasound CL first was 49mm and in few seconds got down to 29mm/w funneling.i have dynamic cervix right?what its characteristics?
What you described!: If your cervix changed that dramatically before your eyes you are at risk for Pre-term labor and delivery. You will need to be watched closely. Depending upon where you are at in the pregnancy, a cervical length of 2.5 cm or less may alert your doctor that you may need a stich in the cervix called a 'cerclage' to keep it closed until 36 weeks. ...Read more

Is emergent mcdonald 3 stitches as successful as elective If cervix is not dilated or effaced at all, just 21mm funnel and CL 23mm.no bulging membranes?
No: What's different about the situation you describe is that there has been cervical shortening, which, in and of itself, increases your risk for preterm delivery. Your cervix is still pretty long, though, at 23mm. Likely the stitch will be successful at helping to prevent preterm birth. It's good, as well, that no bulging membranes. Good luck and I hope that your pregnancy goes to term! ...Read more
Switching from clonazepam .75 for sleep to temazepam because clanazepam is not working as good as it used to be for sleep and I am feeling anxiety next day and don't want to up the dosage. Will i have withdrawal issues? 15mg Tmz equivalent to .75 cl?
Withdrawal unlikely: Clonazepam is longer acting that temazepam, so the lower equivalent dose of the temazepam gets released faster. So it is a reasonable dose to start with. Generally you want to cut back a bit when switching in case the new drug affects you more. If someone stops a benzo completely then withdrawal might be an issue but going down on the dose in a reasonable manner like this won't likely cause it. ...Read more
