Juvederm Around Mouth
Had juvederm injected and I look too swollen in the mouth area. I want to have it dissolved but will the skin have stretched?
Juvederm: Juvederm injection can make the area look swollen. Most often the skin will not remain stretched after injection but it depends on the elasticity of the skin to begin with & how much was injected. Were you a previous smoker? Send us a photo to give you a better prognosis.

I am considering getting lip fillers, the consultant uses Juvederm. How do I know I won't have a reaction I have never had a cosmetic procedure before?
Great question: The incidence of an allergic reaction to fillers is very low. Many people might get a reaction in terms of: swelling, mild redness or discomfort. These are expected. Like with most things you have never tried, you won't know until you try. Talk with a plastic surgeon and make sure they know your entire medical history to make the best decisionSee 1 more doctor answer

I had juvaderm in lines above upper lip, all look great except one doesn't seem to be filled in, will it look better after a few days, its only been 2d?
Check this out: Juvederm is a family of injectable hyaluronic acid dermal fillers which are used for 9 months to one year of correction for moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. There are sometimes negative side effects such as redness and bumps which must be checked out. If the line you mention is still not filled in please check on this with the doctor who gave you this treatment.
Can you have facial filler like juvaderm if you have had an acute subdural hematoma due to a hit on your head?
Yes: Unless you are on medication to decrease blood clotting. The bleeding caused by trauma is not a contraindication to facial fillers. I am assuming this bleed is resolved and there are no current neurological complications. If they are complications hold off anything as non essential as fillers until everything is stable

Dermal filler: Juvederm is the hyaluronic acid dermal filler sold by allergan for the purpose of enhancing the deeper lines formed on the face--most notably, the nasolabial folds. Many other 'off label' uses such as enhancement of the cheeks, tear troughs, lips, etc have also been performed. This substance lasts in most individuals from 6-12 months.See 6 more doctor answers
I would wait to use: Usually when being treated with peg interferon and ribavirin, you become immunosuppresed (i.e. Low immune system), so any other injections like juvederm can lead to local inflammation/skin reactions, infections and confound the other symptoms that you might be experiencing while undergoing treatment. I would wait to use juvederm until you finish your treatment therapy.
Very effective: Juvederm is a great product that can be used for many different things. It comes in different formulations for different areas of the face and different aesthetic goals you might be looking for. It does a great job of filling in the nasolabial folds and can give long lasting results from 6months to a 1 year. If you haven't tried it yet, make sure you make an appt with a plastic surgeon.See 3 more doctor answers
