8 yr history depression. Is my monotonous flat voice answering phones making my family business lose business?

It certainly could : I hope you are receiving good treatment from a psychologist and psychiatrist and that your depression will remit. Your flat voice could well make customers not interested in your business, and they may mistake this with a lack of courtesy and certainly a lack of enthusiasm for the business. I wish you well. Maybe you can get someone else to be receptionist while you heal? ...Read more

Can someone play football with wpw?

Can someone play football with wpw?

Not impossible: Wpw can be associated with a risk of sudden death in some patients so a blanket answer is inappropriate. For an individual with WPW an evaluation by a cardiologist or electrophysiologic cardiologist may indicate either high or lower risk. An ablation procedure to remove the WPW may minimize the risk of sport if there is a great drive to participate. ...Read more

I encourage my patients to use my "rule of three's". 1) you will be anxious the first time you attend the group. 2) by the second visit your anxiety lessens as you become familiar with the process. 3) by the third visit you will have acquired enough experience and knowledge to decide if such therapy might be helpful. ...Read more

If your child has moderate to severe egg allergies your physician may not administer the flu shot to him. An allergy referral in that case may be needed. ...Read more
