Nasal allergies: Antihistamines can offer relief for mild symptoms and may build up. Nasal steroids (Namsacort and Flonase are nonprescription) are going to be more effective for most people. The nasal steroids usually take 2-3 days to start making a difference and reach full effect the in 2 weeks. They are best used regularly in the season. Does your office do laser tattoo removal? Julie

Yes: I have been performing LTR for about 7 years. I am on long island I would recommend you only go to a physician well trained in LTR using FDA approved Q switched lasers. A serious office will have 2 to 5 lasers specifically for LTR

My wife Julie has extreme shaking from head to toe. Walking down stairs is impossible. It went away for 3 days but now it's back. Can we know why pls?

This is a simple?: Although I suspect the answer will not be simple. Take her to the hospital now. She needs to be evaluated by a neurologist. Your earlier question which I also answered about numbness tingling and loss of strength in the arm in the context of what you describe is worrisome for MS or a stroke. You live in a region with increased risk of MS. She has a neurological problem, this needs prompt attention Read more

My wife Julie has pins and needles down the iner right arm. Her right thumb is numb and the right index finger also with pins and needles. Why please?

Does Julie: Have trouble with her neck? This type of problem is oft associated with a pinched nerve root in the cervical spine (neck). Of course there are other explanations as well, but this is the first thing that comes to mind. A series of plain x rays, a history and a physical exam, along with a neurological assessment should illuminate the problem. See a family doctor or internist to start the evaluation Read more
