I've been drinking a lot of v8 juice lately. Could doing this cause me to see little red specks in my stool?
Could be: You're right that v8 contains lots of veggies -- including tomatoes and beets that could show up in your stool if not fully digested. The spicy-flavored one could go more quickly through you and come out on the other end with undigested parts. You could get a hemoccult card from your doctor & check your stool sample for blood to make sure it's not that. ...Read more

Constipation: Best thing to do first is make sure you are getting plenty of fiber intake and plenty of water. This will resolve most cases of constipation. If that does not work, you can add a magnesium supplement. I like magnesium glycinate. You can gradually increase the dose until your stools are soft. If all of that does not work (unlikely), y9ou can try a stool softener like docusate sodium. Good luc ...Read more

Fruits...: , and juices can certainly loosen the stool. The two real problems at this point are: (1) juices are useless - juice is just fruit with everything good thrown out, and (2) canned fruits usually have extra sugar added. I'd recommend fresh (whole, peeled or mashed) fruits only, no cans and no juices. ...Read more

Had constipation for 3days. And hard stool, after eating a senoko pills and after few hours I ate apple and prune juices I had a dirrehea. Why?
Time to work:
Seneko pills take time to work- you may have already had the hard stools before the seneko pills became effective. By the time you had the prune juice, it sounds like the prune juice and the seneko had both kicked in to give you diarrhea. The best thing for constipation is a diet high in fresh fruits and vegetables which provide natural fiber. Drink plenty of fluids as well
