Does gynecologist need to remove ovarian cyst with entire ovary for complete pathologic analysis?

Not Always: Usually the entire ovary is not removed unless there are concerns of malignancy or if the ovary is severely torsed (twisted off). Ovarian Cysts: Hemorrhagic ovarian cysts can develop after uterine removal, or they can represent foci of endometriosis or merely retained corpora lutein cysts that become necrotic and bleed into them.
