Swollen tounge, floating stools, slightly swollen hands and feet, occasional joint pains...What do theses symptoms mean?

Swollen tounge, floating stools, slightly swollen hands and feet, occasional joint pains...What do theses symptoms mean?

Inflammation: Swollen tongue, hands and feet could be angioedema--all the symptoms you name could come from a food allergy, and that is one thing you would want to rule out before looking for more chronic and insidious diseases, because the treatment is so straightforward--don't eat the food. There are many other possible causes, however. Starting with an allergist would be a logical choice, though. Read more

Donated blood said hlab27 antigen positive PCP had blood drawn hlab27 negative. Joint pain everywhere. Weight gain headaches weakness tingling hands?

Cannot be: HLA- B27 is always positive or negative. It does not change. One of the tests was wrong. Also, HLA-B27 is useless as a screening test. The symptoms need to be worked up (eg., the joint pain) and then, only the proper tests should be done depending on the symptoms. Diseases such Lyme disease or lupus cannot be checked for with labs. A history & physical are the first steps. Read more

There is no reason for you to try to self-diagnose - let the pros do that with your help in honestly carefully providing the history of these things. Best wishes for a healthy outcome. Read more

What causes swollen hands, feet, and ankles? Not reduced with diuretic only prednisone. Swelling inbetween finger joints not the joints themselves.

Inflammation: Sounds like inflammation. Must search for cause. Rule out food sensitivity. About 10 percent of population can be sensitive to nightshades, about 30-40 percent can be sensitive to gluten and casein.
