The medical term is cephalalgia. It is a feeling of pain that can occur on either both sides or just one side of the head or neck. Headaches can be sharp, dull, or throbbing, and can radiate to different areas of the head. They typically last less than an hour but can ...Read more
See a Doctor: These seemingly disconnected symptoms are probably linked to a generalized or systemic illness going on like a kidney problem or an autoimmune illness like lupus. You need to see a doctor for a complete workup.See 1 more doctor answer

Syphillis + not good: Get into see an infectious disease specialist very soon. You need to be sure that it was not a false positive. This can occasionally occur, but you need to be sure.
Swollen tounge, floating stools, slightly swollen hands and feet, occasional joint pains...What do theses symptoms mean?
Inflammation: Swollen tongue, hands and feet could be angioedema--all the symptoms you name could come from a food allergy, and that is one thing you would want to rule out before looking for more chronic and insidious diseases, because the treatment is so straightforward--don't eat the food. There are many other possible causes, however. Starting with an allergist would be a logical choice, though.See 1 more doctor answer
Started with a rash now with swelling of hands and feet headaches and joint pain. What could this be?
Swollen hands face and knees, lymphodema, low body temp, hot red skin, & headache every night. What could cause this? I also have asthma & raynauds.
Donated blood said hlab27 antigen positive PCP had blood drawn hlab27 negative. Joint pain everywhere. Weight gain headaches weakness tingling hands?
Cannot be: HLA- B27 is always positive or negative. It does not change. One of the tests was wrong. Also, HLA-B27 is useless as a screening test. The symptoms need to be worked up (eg., the joint pain) and then, only the proper tests should be done depending on the symptoms. Diseases such Lyme disease or lupus cannot be checked for with labs. A history & physical are the first steps.
I suffer from floaters, muscle/joint pain, tremors in arms and hands, numbness and tingling in arms and hands, headaches, worsening vision, memory loss, frequent UTI and illness. Is it possible that I might be suffering from ms?
Lots of symptoms: You report many fairly serious symptoms and really need a good, full medical workup. Some of your complaints do sound like possible ms signs but there are other conditions too. There is no reason for you to try to self-diagnose - let the pros do that with your help in honestly carefully providing the history of these things. Best wishes for a healthy outcome.See 1 more doctor answer

My hands feel tight but don't look swollen for about 3 weeks. I have occasional mild joint pain. I am a 45 yr old male.
Ans: Well start to passively exercise the hands and get them moving. This will help you. What kind of work do you do? Do you use your hands excessively?
Joint pain for almost a year;the last 3 days my hands have been swollen, worse in am. No meds or heat/cold helps. Urgentcare gave no meds or advice.?
See a rheumatologist: See a rheumatologist asap. You likely have an inflammatory arthritis. There are many causes including rheumatoid arthritis.
Acute Rheumatoid: Acute swelling of joints could be a serious problem. You may have an 'auto-immune' disease where you are making antibodies to your own joints (example=rheumatoid arthritis). Simple blood tests can sort this out. The fastest test is a 'sed. Rate' (&crp) and if elevated highly suggests an auto-immune disease. I recommend getting to your doctor right away, then you may need a 'rheumatologist'.See 1 more doctor answer

Nucynta (tapentadol) ir causes me trouble walking, hallucinations, anxiety. It's not helping my joint pain and now my hands are swollen, what's going on with me?
Wrong treatment: You are describing typical side eglffects from nucynta (tapentadol). You should talk to your doctor about your symptoms and changing your medication. You did not mention your diagnosis. It is rare for strong pain medications to be a good treatment for joint pain. If your problem is arthritis you may wnt to consider seeing a rheumatologist.

What causes swollen hands, feet, and ankles? Not reduced with diuretic only prednisone. Swelling inbetween finger joints not the joints themselves.
Inflammation: Sounds like inflammation. Must search for cause. Rule out food sensitivity. About 10 percent of population can be sensitive to nightshades, about 30-40 percent can be sensitive to gluten and casein. Other more common food sensitivities include soy, corn, beef, etc. Consider food elimination for at least 2-3 months. Inflammatory prob: The symptoms you're describing along with your history of bowel issues are concerning for an inflammatory arthritis or connective tissue diagnosis.
