Not directly linked: There are lots of reasons for leg pains: none i can think of from standard dieting. If you are exercising ( and you should be) that will make your legs sore. If you are on Neurontin (gabapentin) for nerve pain that can be it also. You may also have some wear and tear ( 50 yr olds do) and that can ache. Not a reason to stop weight reduction and fitness.
