Pollen is the equivalent of sperm for a plant. It is a genetically active product, seen on flowers usually, which the plants with the assistance of birds, bats and insects as well as the wind, uses to fertilize the egg of the plant to ensure a next generation. It also can be irritating, functioning as an allergen, leading to sneezing ...Read more
Honey: Some persons believe that by eating locally collected honey that pollen contained in the honey will help to make them resistant to allergic plants. (desensitize them). Bees collect pollen primarily from flowering plants that require the bee to carry the pollen to other plants; these pollens are not typically airborne and therefore are not the plants that typically cause respiratory allergy.
Bee pollem: Bee Pollen Benefits and Side Effects For years, herbalists have touted bee pollen as an exceptionally nutritious food. They've even claimed it is a cure for certain health problems. Yet after years of research, scientists still cannot confirm that bee pollen has any health benefits. En.wikipedia. Org/wiki/Bee_pollen

Yes: The pollens that cause allergies are very small, and carried by the wind. Flowers need bees to cross-pollinate, because the pollen is too big and heavy to be carried by the wind. Since they're not airborne, people can't inhale them and react to them. Thus, the pollens found in bee pollen are not the pollens that cause your allergic symptoms.See 1 more doctor answer
Better not: If you do have pollen allergies, it might not be a good idea to try it, and it won't help too, whether the antihistaminic would interact with the bee pollen, unlikely. Check this link for more info http://www. Webmd. Com/balance/bee-pollen-benefits-and-side-effects
Is the bee pollen helpful with seasonal allergiy I have allergy for tree pollen but only in spring
What is use of tablets containing bee pollen, granular, honey, stearic acid, silica and royal jelly?
Unknown Supplement: This is definitely not a prescribed medication. It has nothing in the ingredients list that would have any medical or health benefit. It is probably one of the thousands of fraudulent products designed by herbal or 'supplement' factories to sell to gullible humans.
Will bee pollen cure non bacterial or bacterial prostatis? Have been tested 3 times and no bacteria has shown. Been living with it for 4 months. Cures?
I think so: I probably have probably taken both myself as a physician. Of course it is highly unlikely that the combo has ever been formally studied. I am unaware of any reason why one would expect an untoward reaction.
I Hurd that bee pollen, and natural honey is good for "Allergies". I have severe environmental allergies not to bees would it work.?
Bee pollen: The thought is that the local honey will contain properties that can help make you less allergic to plants and trees in your local area
I'm highly allergic to bees. I have become interested in taking bee pollen weight loss. Would I be able to take even though I'm allergic?
No problem.: If you are allergic to bee stings you are allergic to the venom in the sting. You are not allergic to any other part of the bee including honey. I am not aware of the virtue of bee pollen for weight loss so my answer is not an endorsement of this unusual recommendation. I'm old-fashioned & believe that weight loss is a combination of eating less, exercising more & willpower. It works for me.See 2 more doctor answers
I'm eating a lot less since I started taking bee pollen because it doesn't make me hungry. Could that be why I feel dizzy and off everyday?
Dehydrated: Drink plenty of water, 2 liters more a day (8 glasses with 8 more ounces) and see if you do not feel better. Make sure you are eating enough calories to fuel your body through the day with a balanced diet as well. Eat more vegetables and fruits and maybe a multivitamin and see how much better you will feel. It will be amazing. You are most likely just dehydrated. Good luck and feel better!
I have been taking the zi xiu tang bee pollen pills for weight loss. It has been helping but I have a lot of diarrhea. I don't why.
Who knows: Who knows what's in it and what toxic effects it could have. The only thing that will lost weight is your wallet. Stay away from internet garbage, it won't help you and could harm you.
Was considering taking bee pollen supplements but heard if you have seasonal allergies you shouldn't, is this true?
Probably: There are rare cases of anaphylaxis from bee pollen. One problem is that the pollen collected by bees are specific for that colony and area. They are mostly from flowering plants they are not the usual allergenic ones which travel in the air. The reaction is usually from cross-sensitivity between a particular pollen and another plant. No evidence bee pollen is effective for allergic diseases.
