Prescriptions: Fungal infections are difficult to get rid of. The most effective way is with prescription antifungals. Ringworm infection: Ringworm infection is caused by fungus and rarely causes blisters. If you did not get seen I strongly recommend for u to see ur doctor for an accurate diagnoses. If it is fungal infection and tinactin (tolnaftate) did not help you may need to take a prescription medicine by mouth. Read more
Treat infection: Treat the cause! If an infection, often fungal, most over-the-counter preparations are effective if you are compliant with the regimen for 1-2 weeks. Terbinafine, miconazole, Clotrimazole are common meds used to treat this. A topical steroid such as Hydrocortisone may be used at the same time to treat itching. If not infection related, make sure your clothing is not a cause. Is it too tight, etc. Read more
Provided you use the correct medication, the itch and discomfort should start disdappearing within a week or shorter.
Be sure to conitnue applying the cream until the lesions are completely gone. If what you use does not work, it will be better to use a medication prescribed by your doctor. Read more
