Herpes simplex: You get herpetic outbreaks at the site onto which the virus was inoculated. If you received oral sex this should occur on the penis if your partner had the virus in their mouth, unless they also kissed you on the lips. What is probable is that you simply had a recurrence of herpes that you had gotten some time in the past. ...Read more
Possible allergy: You may have irritated your lips with something like a spicy or other product. Be careful of cinnamon, strong peppermint, or spicy foods. It's also possible you got a sunburn or windburn. Try vaseline on your lips for a few days. If it doesn't clear up see your doctor. ...Read more
Herpes is unlikely: Something doesn't compute. Sexual exposure doesn't trigger herpes outbreaks. Consider re-posting your question with more details about symptoms: exact location of the sore (s), timing after oral sex, how long they last, etc. Are these outbreaks typical for others in the past? If your oral herpes was professionally diagnosed, provide details such as test results. ...Read more

The blister on your lip sounds like typical cold sore. Usually lasts a week, often quite sore and always unsightly. It is commonly triggered by other illness, emotional stress and exposure to a lot of sunlight. It is caused by reactivation of herpes type 1 virus (not genital herpes).

Had 1ml perlane (dermal fillers) in lips. Injector did a bad job! Pain and it got huge am on predisolone and e-mycin. I have bumps! Allergic to hyaluronidase! Unhappy?
Site close to skin: I doubt that there is an allergic response. Injection needs to be deep enough so that there are not bumps in the superficial dermis. The steroid and the antibiotic may be helpful; however, ice 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off may also help decrease the swelling and inflammation. I do not know who performed the injection; however, a second opinion from a board certified plastic surgeon may help all. ...Read more

If some1 says awful things ie; parent/boss & u can't change job, it stays in my head & makes me angry+upset & sick, how can I prevent this impact?
No quick trick: Some of us are definitely more sensitive than others. It's a personality trait with many advantages that we often don't appreciate but that benefits others, quietly. Less sensitive types can't get why we are so upset over "nothing" and why it lasts. Ask your doc to refer you to a psychotherapist. He or she may help you find constructive way of integrating these wounds, having them interfere less. ...Read more
