Jaw Pain And Tooth Throbbing After Root Csanbalk
Root canal 2 weeks ago. Now jaw pain and clicking sound on the same side as root canal. Some soreness/throbbing to tooth and gums. Is this normal?
Excruciating pain on the right side of my mouth. Throbbing jaw pain, tooth aches, sore gums, facial swelling, lips are numb, and a low grade temp.
Multiple symptoms: You can either research hundreds of possibilities over the internet and sites like this or see your primary care physician as soon as possible for a proper diagnosis and treatment. I would recommend the second. ...Read more
Hi last nite throbbing jaw pain at the jawline. It was only on one side and the test of mouth didn't hurt. Could it be my teeth our some thing else?
Teeth a concern: Diffuse jaw pain can have several reasons, teeth are one of the more common ones, especially impacted teeth (under the gums). The gums surrounding the teeth can be painful. The jaw joint, tmj, can be a reason for pain, higher on the suspicion meter if you note popping with opening your jaw. The salivary glands, submandibular, can be an etiology for posterior jaw pain. See your dentist for an exam. ...Read more

When is an unfinished root canal ready for filling? My tooth/jaw pain has subsided, but lymph nodes still swollen, ok to finish?
Hello there, I am an adult and got sealants on my teeth one year ago. I am having tooth & jaw pain that sometimes gives me headaches. It radiates up into my head. Is it possible I would need a root canal? How likely is that scenario?
It would be unlikely that the sealants caused the the pain, especially if the discomfort did not start for a year.
There may be decay under the sealant but you would need to get an xray to check on it. I would think that a change in your bite could cause all these symptoms, but you will need to see a dentist to evaluate. ...Read more
