Need more info: A swollen jaw can obviously produce an asymmetrical appearance of the face and jaws. More additional information is needed to determine if your swelling is a soft tissue problem or a hard tissue problem related to an abnormality in your jaw producing the asymmetry. Unlikely: Parathyroid cancer is very rare. Patients with parathyroid cancer often have PTH in the 400-500 range. I wouldn't suspect PTH cancer with a level of 108. That being said, you need to evaluate the lymph nodes if things are not improving. ...Read more
