Jamieson B 100 Complex
For what condition?: Jamieson's b complex 100 mg is a timed-release product. B vitamins are also water-soluble, so that any excess your body does not need will be excreted. Taking vitamin b6 (pyridoxine) at 1-6 grams (not milligrams as in this preparation) per day over many months can cause a sensory neuropathy. For most people, the 50mg b complex would be enough -- if you have poor diet & stress, maybe need more. ...Read more
Not likely unless...: Unless you're truly deficient, it's not likely that you'll find much benefit from b complex vitamins. Sure we look for B12 & folate (folic acid) deficiency in alzheimer's dementia, but I have yet to correct someone's levels & return their thinking process. If you drink alcohol to excess & forgo proper balanced nutrition, you can run low on b vitamins for which extra might be useful but this is pretty rare. ...Read more

Does not matter: I would not take ANY of these. Some are harmful. All are useless in the absence of specific indications. If you have medical problems, see your DR. If you have no symptoms, realize that the purveyors of all these are making a sucker out of you. ...Read more
Is b complex vitamin good for cancer patient ? And does surbex xt medicine contain b complex vitamin?
Unknown &controversy: There is not enough science to answer this definitively. I think yes. One of the best studies was done by abam hoffer md who showed dramatic increases in survival in cancer patients who took high doses of b complex, beta carotene, e, c, selenium & zinc. See http://cancertherapies.Org/bkinfo.Htm no one has studied b vits alone. Surbex xt has four b vitamins but not the full b complex. ...Read more

I am using 300 mcg biotin 1 per day.And with this tablet i m taking vitamin B complex, vitamin E 200mg, and multivitamin. Is it ok?
Yes as long as...: That is fine. None of the things you are taking are likely to be toxic as long as the Vit E you are taking is natural with mixed tocopherols; there is evidence synthetic E (dl-alpha tocopherol) is toxic & even natural E should contain mixed tocopherols.Make sure your multivitamin is high quality- see http://bit.ly/18XyuLe & http://bit.ly/1b36cQ0 Make sure you're not taking more than 200 mg of B6. ...Read more

I can't find isolated vitamin b1 (thiamine) in local drug stores, only a full vitamin b complex. Does any of b vitamins interact with zoloft?
My breakfast has 10g of fibre 15g protein, 25% vitamin a, 10% vitamin c, 14% calcium, 62% iron, 40%vitamin E, 36%niacin, 43% folate (folic acid) is that healthy ?
Reasonable but...: All of those sound reasonable but in order to know if it si healthy I would like to know how much carbohydrates, sugars and fats and what type of fats. Also, is the Vitamin E natural (d-alpha tocopherol) or synthetic (dl-alpha tocopheral)- synthetic may be harmful. Does it contain GMO's? Is it organic? If not, it may have significant pesticide residues. Consider adding fresh fruit and/or nuts. ...Read more
Is it safe to take levothyroxine50mg, adipex37.5mg, vitamin b complex, c & e, magnesium & iodine supplements in morning? I'm on atenolol25mg @ night?
Safe not advisable: Taking all those medicines together is probably safe but not advisable. Levothuroxine has to be taken on an empty stomach with a glass of water and no bother meds. This means an hour before or 2 hour after a meal. Food and other meds affect absorption. Vitamins and minerals best absorbed with food. Adipex should be taken with a meal i believe. ...Read more
I'm combining exercise and a healthy diet with these supplements: b complex, magnesium, omega 3, niacin, and, l theanine; to treat anxiety. Thoughts?
Methylation: Consider getting tested for mthfr and possibly comt. These are methylation genes. Methylation is involved in making and breaking down neurotransmitters. Lead toxicity can also slow the breakdown of excitatory neurotransmitters, promoting anxiety. You may also need zinc (take with dinner). ...Read more
