I can feel the nodes in my popliteal and arm fossa. Abnormal? Been this way fro about 2 yrs. tender when palpated with "blanching" force.
Likely abnormal: Nodes shouldn't be painful when "nothing" is going on. This suggests some reactive changes of the nodes. Size also helps determine "abnormality". For epitrochlear nodes, >5mm is abnormal, and any palpable popliteal nodes of "any" size is abnormal. Again this doesn't mean things like cancer as I know that often comes up.
