Don't give up: It's normal to be concerned about your health, and to worry why you feel bad. The possibilities are numerous--ranging from acid reflux (i.e., heartburn) or a peptic ulcer to pancreatic or biliary disease ; even stress. Alarm signs include weight loss, bleeding, recurrent vomiting, significant tenderness. Whatever the cause, you're appropriately anxious about it and should seek additional help. ...Read more
Stimulants: Stimulants increase the heart rate and make the heart more irritable and prone to irregular rhythms that would be perceived as palpitations. In addition to increasing the heart rate, some increase the strenght of the hear beat resulting in more blood being pumped that may cause a murmur, even in the absence of a heart defect. These stimulant may be ingested substances or internally produced. ...Read more

HR slightly fast : A hr of 104 at rest (sinus tach) is slightly higher than the normal range of hr's between 60-100 at rest. That said, there could be plenty of reasons that this coud happen (like anxiety, dehydration, caffeine, pain, etc). Also anemia, hyperthyroidism , breathing or pulmonary problems could result in physiologically appropriate faster hr's. Inappropriate sinus tach considered if no cause seen. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Atrial Fibrillation: Atrial fibrillation is disorganized heart muscle activity (looks like quivering) of the upper chambers of the heart. The result is that the bottom chamber doesn't get it's usual rhythmic electrical stimulus and it squeezes after slowly filling for longer than it usually takes. This feels like fluttering with strong beats in between. You need medical attention -- can be dangerous. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Let's see: Let's see what your holter shows - surely the ny's celebration was contributory at the time but not now. It may have made you more aware of ordinary irregularity though. Normal folks have palpitations sometimes. A full workup should include a blood sample for thyroid fct, potassium, magnesium, and an echo in addition to the holter.
