My first IVF cycle is in two weeks and I have found out thati am not immune to measles. Time is a factor since i haverecurring ovarian cysts. Should I have this vaccine?
IVF and MMR: If you haven't started taking the stimulation medications, it may be better to delay the cycle start and get the vaccine now. It would only delay the cycle by another week or 2. If you've already started the medications to stimulate your ovaries, you can still go ahead with the cycle and even get pregnant. You'd get the vaccine after the first trimester of pregnancy. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

What are my chances my ovarian cyst grow bigger over time during my pregnancy? I'm 5 months now. Can it shrink or disappear?
Most stay unchanged: How large is your ovarian cyst? Most resolve after 13th week , but if you still have it at 20 weeks it should be checked regularly for growth. Most ovarian cysts do not change size in pregnancy and do not require any treatment. If you develop symptoms of pain due to the cyst or if the cyst significantly grows then you might need surgery to remove it. Most surgery is done prior to 20 weeks. ...Read more
