Depends: If your partner does not have congenital bilateral absence of the vas deferens (cbavd), then IUI can be done if there is a need for it. However, if he has cbavd, then sperm has to be retrieved directly from the epididymis or testes and ivf would be needed as sperm numbers are limited.
